IGN ETQW Custom Servers

Dear all, the custom map packs that are required to play on Server #3 and now available Here


OK so what do you do?

1. First download the two map packs (which are zipped into the one download file)

2. Then Place the files Custom1.pk4 & Custom2.pk4 into

C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserNameGoesHere>\My Documents\id Software\Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars\base

Map rotations are :
Custom1 : slipgate, area22, island, volcano, valley, salvage.

Custom2 : Sewer, refinery, ark, canyon, quarry, outskirts

3. Play some ETQW and give us feedback

Troubleshooting

1. Make sure if you extract the files to your "C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserNameGoesHere>\My Documents\id Software\Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars\base" folder, that it doesn't create a second "base" folder like it did for me

2. If at first you fail to connect to the server and get an error message that says "Authorisation failed, please log in", hit Esc and then try to connect again and it should work (well it works for me anyway)

Server #1 is now an ETQW Pro Server for 18 players.
The files for the Pro mod can be found :

An ETQWPro folder should be created in x:\id Software\Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars

Use of the installer is recommended as it will do all that is needed automatically.

Currently the maps are : Estate, Arctic Assault, Retake of the Andes, Comm Link and Sky.

Custom maps no longer running on #1, it is now just a standard SW Rotation.

Version 1.0 .exe is the easiest option for install

Server #2 is now a Tactical Assault mod Server.

Server #2 : Internode ETQW #02 (TA v0.3.1) : 59.167.241.70:27733

The Mod is hosted in the file library here

Install instructions as per the read.me :
"unzip the QWTA release zip file into your ETQW folder. You should end up with a /qwta/ folder alongside your /base/ folder, inside your ETQW folder. "
