I don't understand how you can rate something as B-grade if there is nothing that qualifies as A-grade. Just sounds like your wanting something better, which is true of absolutely every game.

Battlefield 3 has sold over 15 Million units since launch, surely it can't be that bad.

well that's true, sometimes we do have to settle for B-grade. The game itself is probably good enough to buy, but I didn't because I didn't want to support where EA wants to take things.

you yourself just used CoD as some kind of derogative, want to know how many copies that has sold?

P.S. those games were bad too...

If you've got them handly that would be good. I can't find exact figures only that MW3 hasn't sold anywhere near as many as Black Ops did so that shows the CoD franchise is in decline whereas Battlefield is on the up an up.

Yeah for Battlefield!

Yeah for Battlefield!

you're kidding me right? MW3 has sold over 20 million copies on 360 and PS3 alone and mw3 has outsold black ops on each console respectively

http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=&p ... esults=200

but really this is irrelevant anyway, just trying to demonstrate that sales != quality.

That data doesn't seem very accurate. It says only 1.4 million units were sold on PC. That seems very very very low even for a CoD game. Not that I'm defending CoD in anyway.

MW3 has sold around 27.56 million units total according to VGChartz. BF3 has sold 13.54 million, but did outsell MW3 on PC by 590 thousand (1.99m to 1.40m).

Total sales figures aren't really a good indication of how good a game is, more it's an indication of how good their marketing campaign is.

They spend hundred's of millions on advertising. Its an investment into selling copies as people are going to buy the game whether its good or not if they are constantly spammed with adverts telling them its the messiah come again. Besides, as a perfect example, look how many of us got tricked into buying Diablo 3! Ha.

FYI: VGChartz can be far from accurate.
