The eagerly anticipated 'Meet the Pyro' video is out, and the 'Pyromania' update is released. If you haven't watched the video, make that your first priority - and then, check out these sweet new things! Not-least coolest is the addition of 'Pyrovision Goggles' which will make your whole world (read: deadly weapons) as they do in Pyroland. If you still haven't watched the video despite earlier urging, you have no idea what is meant by 'Pyroland'. Rectify this immediately by watching this video.

Also the heavy says that he is afraid of no man. They definitely kept in ambiguous. It was a good end to all the "meet the's".

They will never say either way what sex the pyro is. Keeping it ambiguous just means people will continue to talk about the pyro.

But, in the case of the scouts comment, he is probably assuming the pyro is a he as the pyro scares the **** out of him and back in the sixties women weren't thought of in that "homicidal" way. (generalisation)

And while the song references a girl, the lyrics always referenced a girl and it is just what the pyro hears in their head when they are running around spreading joy/horror in the land of TF2.
