Unread postby News Portal » 22 Jun 12, 6:05 pm

Medal of Honor developers Danger Close outsourced their multiplayer to DICE in the first version of their reboot. Now, in [app=8808]Medal of Honor: Warfighter[/app], they're keeping it in-house. Jacob Saylor went hands-on to see if they can pull it off.

The last MoH's MP was fantastically enjoyable as it offered solid infantry gameplay on exciting maps (that Digwa Camp whatever notwithstanding) and I enjoyed many hours with it. Although, that was back before Frostbite 2 when it was the best looking and sounding shooter... now with BF3 on the scene, MoH:WF is going to find it even harder than before to get a footing on the scene.

I do believe that MoH did 'close quarters' style gameplay far better than the latest BF3 DLC. The maps were small but BF-like, rather than the obvious CoD-stylings of CQ.

Very excited, day one purchase!

Like DarkMellie said, really looking forward to it. I enjoyed the last MoH in both SP and MP. The weapons had a really meaty feel (and I hope that continues into Warfighter). I do wish that the MP lasted a bit longer for me though, as it was rather good (minus the retarded air strikes). I don't know why I stopped playing it, but I obviously got distracted with something else and just never went back.

I will probably buy, if nothing else - for the sp.

I should add I'll learn from last time and buy this only on Xbox. The multi will die WAY too quickly on PC but achievements last forever :)

I didn't think much of the MP in the last MoH, maps were way too small for my liking. The SP was great though imo, much better than BC2 and CoD at the time. I'll probably wait for reviews for this one before buying it, but it sounds decent so far.

Lol you guys are smoking crack, moh mp sucked, all the weapons were lazers with no recoil turning the game into a festering camp/shitfest (probably why some liked it cause they couldnt figure out to kill ppl in bc2 at the time without using 3 mags :P)

They have done a great job on improving the sequel in many ways, can't wait.
