GAME Australia has been closing stores all over, with only a few remaining active in each state. Now even those are looking likely to wind up, with GAME's administrators, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, to recommend to shareholders that the company be liquidated. "The Company is insolvent," reads the report, "and we do not consider it to be in the creditors interests that the administration end and the Company is returned to the directors." Previously, the administrators had been discussing a purchase of the company "with interested parties", but those discussions must now be presumed to have failed.
