Star Wars 1313 Confirmed, Announced

LucasArts have confirmed that they are indeed developing a new Star Wars title. Called Star Wars 1313, the new game will is described as a "mature, third-person cinematic action game" which will feature "a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy". Oh, and it's set on level 1313 on Coruscant - hence the name. More information will doubtless be available at E3, so stay tuned for all the details as we try to get hands-on next week.

Hmm, they didn't quietly buy up Prey 2 and turn it into this did they? That's the first thing that comes to mind. Well, except 3rd person.

Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing. Prey 2 seemed to only be a sequel in name anyway.

Give me some freaking fun game play and stop trying to make me sit through mediocre sci-fi wet-dreams written by people who couldn't publish a real book.

How is it that a game like Minecraft can take the industry by storm and developers still don't realize actual game play>graphics>cinematics>voice acting> whatever **** IP you purchased a license for.

Cinematics are great, I love cinematics, but games need to have a decent core or it doesn't matter.

Personally I'm glad I lived through the golden age of X-wing, Tie Fighter and Dark Forces 2 because quite frankly there hasn't been a decent Star Wars game in at least a decade.

Confirmed, I'm weird though, I think the pinnacle of Star Wars games was "Shadows of The Empire".
