I actually attempted to set up the node WoW gateway to connect to D3 on the weekend. Managed to connect, but it made no difference latency wise, and from what a few people said chat reported me as being offline now and then.

Hmmm I googled a handy Youtube video on this and did it. Will see if it makes a difference when servers come back in... 2.5 hours.

Just FYI, servers are up now, but semi-frequent disconnects that doesn't seem to save much progress

well I did as Celty suggested, and my latency went down from an annoying 350-400 back to the 230 I got at launch.

Don't know if it was maintenance or the tweaks, though. Regardless, I'm keeping them.

One of my friends and I have been getting that bug occasionally without using a 'WoW gateway' (whatever that is, I don't play WoW :58_80: ).

How do you see your ping in D3 anyway? I can get it to show FPS but not ping.

Its not, im trying to get a refund as i type this, hopefully they comply and i wont have to a credti card chargeback wouldnt be hard though, i can just tell me bank to look at their forums, so many tears.

Try playing inferno with 400ms sometimes your moves are delayed and that one delay your dead. Its heinous. Blizzard really **** up this game with their online ****.

The problem with that line of thinking is you got lots of hours before inferno. You'd have had to have enjoyed the game to get that far.

Refunds and chargebacks are only really justified if you have a faulty product, not one that you got hours of enjoyment enough to play to the end game then decided you no longer liked it.
