The content and servers were always lacking on iiNet/3FL despite that I hope that the people involved can keep their jobs or are offered other jobs in the reshuffle.

It's times like this that I wish both of those services (Battlelog and Rockstar Social Club) allowed custom image files to be used as emblems.

The logo hasn't officially changed yet AFAIK, I think the image is more of a tasty morsel from the future.

Good to hear about the changes, more content and editorial articles. Back in the day the only time the front page changed was when steam updated something - and even then it was only HL2.

Back on topic, Glad to hear no jobs will be lost for either side, and fingers crossed that 3FL gamers are willing to accept the change. I've never had any real trouble with 3FL gamers, so I'll be welcoming them with open arms

And PinothyJ, that past is behind the community, and I'm sure they're not as idiotic as you may believe. Hopefully the new members will integrate nice and smoothy into the GON Community and be valuable members.

On Battlelog, do a platoon search for Games On Net. You should be able to find 2 platoons (had to make 2 due to the popular interest combined with the 100 member limit per platoon).

On Rockstar Social Club, do a crew search for Games On Net.

There's also a link to the current GON BF3 platoon in the BF3 section (look for the Origin ID list post) and the Rockstar Social Club crew in General Chat.

Some people just don't like change even if it is the best thing moving forward. This move pretty much guarantees the future of both gaming communities for a long time to come, the only difference being shared forums. I hardly see that as a negative to anyone, sure not everyone agrees on every topic posted but that happens in the existing communities today, so this move will hardly change that.

I for one am looking forward to seeing some of the new members and hope they become valuable members of the community.

On the 3FL forums it was awash with how DARE their community be sullied by those dicks from GoN and this is the beginning of the end of failure.

From memory it was mainly a slug at our existing Admin team / our rules (at least I think it was), and if we can deal with it surely you should have no issue with it?
