Vid Card - ok

Pressure sensitive controller - not so good for the player who mashes the controller with his/her tongue poking out the side of their mouth.

Wireless mouse glove hybrid thing - awesome if you have a media / home theatre PC.

Also - how come not in Tech section, aint that section cool enough for news posts?

A mixture of the two.

I was also expecting to pay about $400.

$399 is US pricing for the 670. It was inevitable for us to pay the $450 - 500 price point.

In other news, 2 of those Gigabyte custom cooler 670's are making their way to me. I'm excited!

When you get'em, give your point of view of them please?

People who pay that much for the 690 are retards

When AMD release their next dual-GPU card and people start selling their old ones I'm going to pick up a second hd6970 and go crossfire... will play bf3 on ultra @ 1920x1080 no probs for no more than 200 bucks :)

I will do so, rest assured! Hopefully with the both of them, i'll be able to play crysis 2 fully max'd out in 3d vision without sub 30fps at points lol

Will definitely buy an Evga GTX 670 4gb when they get imported here.

As for the OCZ vertex 4 it seems there are some improvements but not enough to justify upgrading from my current vertex 3 with its latest firmware.

reference OC will set you back about $419 dependent on brand preference, the Gigabyte OC is $399 but sold out literally everywhere

The ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP card is insane. It's quicker than a stock 680, is one of the quietest actively cooled graphics cards made in the past few years (at both idle and load), runs very cool and is only $40 more than most of the reference 670's are.
If it was literally 0.5cm shorter then I would get one, unfortunately it won't quite fit in my tiny PC thanks to a little bit of the plastic fan shroud that overhangs the PCB :(
Guess I will wait and see what the other non-reference designs that come out are like, but I doubt they will be as good as the ASUS is for the price.
