Hopefully it does better than Vanguard: SoH, the last game to let me play as a cat.

This is on the Hero engine, correct? I can't see how it will do 100 man battles better than the Star Wars one did.

Poorly drawn comic about what TES: Online might be like (well most MMOs) http://i.imgur.com/937F9.png

I was really excited about SWTOR. But I'm playing wow again...

I think I'll just stick with Skyrim - sorry but wow cloning TES is a bad idea.

-There will be no player housing

-"It needs to be comfortable for people who are coming in from a typical massively multiplayer
-"Recreateing the freedom Elder Scrolls players expect within the World of Warcraft-style mechanics

And there goes any interest I had, Wheres the bandwagon lets jump on. This is going to be similar to the whole "reimagined" syndicate, it will have the name we will see what else remains.

It may be a good game on its own, depends how much they want to copy and what of skyrim is left over.

Yeah got to agree here.

That's about the end of TES right there.

Edit: don't get me wrong, I'm sure ppl will buy and play it, but they bought and played SWTOR too right ?

None of the single player goodness mindset seems to be there in the graphics, or gameplay.. so what's different from ACME MMO ?

Again, it's not the end of TES..... It's a spinoff MMO, not even made by Bethesda.

Yeah that's kind of the point I was making..

It has none of the goodness that bethesda are known for.

Games not in First person which is an instant deal breaker for me, I don't want to play a WoW clone with the name Elder Scrolls slapped on the game.

Ill just wait for Elder Scrolls 6.

Yeah I'm not too interested.

Sounds a bit like a rift approach redux.

That is you take a WoW clone, Slap a nice brand name on it, throw in a couple of gimmicks and voila!

The PvP (with DAoC influences and devs) sounds like it could be the hook for this. If it can live up to DAoC, then who cares if its' a WoW clone tbh.

Though it probably will have to F2P (which is not a bad thing btw, plenty of MMOs are thriving on F2P). It's just I can't really see an MMO working as a subscription game if it is just a WoW clone with good PvP.
