Ouch.

Sweet, looks like a fantasy version of ToR. Should be fun.

Lol at WoW clone, and the rest.. why be original at all?

Each player has a small hotbar which they rotate skills through. Your currently equipped weapon determines your light and heavy attacks which are your first two skill slots, with another few skills chosen directly by the player, and a final ‘ultimate’ skill which requires the build-up of a resource named ‘finesse’.
Complete rip-off of Guild Wars 2 there.. so close, it's scary.

Like you, I thought the same thing when I read that at first. Then I came to the next sentence. If it's going to be similar to EverQuest and Dark Age of Camelot, Guild Wars 2 will already be doing it. It will not be an easy sale for this title.

I'm pretty sure that anybody that is interested in a new MMO has preordered Guild Wars 2...

I'd like the next interview GoN does with anyone from the TES:O to ask

"How did the concept of 'an elderscrolls game online' go from 'letting you play skyrim with your buddies online and a few hundred other people' to 'some WoW clone with different named areas'?"

It really doesn't seem like a difficult concept.

1) Take Skyrim
2) Allow a few hundred players to populate it at once
3) Charge $100 a month and ???profit.

Very unlikely that this is game I will end up playing, all I ever wanted was an MMO version of Daggerfall :(.

The biggest worry for me is without a doubt that it's a bloody prequel... I hate prequels with a passion. For me the fact that SWTOR was a prequel cut my play time at least in half, MMO's should at least try to give you the illusion that you are making a difference but when you can actually look up how everything will turn out, hell you played how everything turned out already it just kills all the immersion for me.

Oh so you are fighting over Cyrodil? Something tells me the humans win in the end...........
