I have to agree with you, I sunk MANY hours into BC1 and found it highly enjoyable. Only reason I stopped playing was due to change of house.. then just forgot to play again :P

You Know What I Love? Metroid Prime.

But Bad Company sounds good too. I should pick it up.

I never played BFBC1 as I have never had a console of this generation but BF2 and BFBC2 are my favorite battlefields atm with BF3 being only average to me.

I do wish they would release BC1 for PC, I played BC2 on PC and thought it was great.

I don't care if it looks dated, I want to play it with a mouse and keyboard.

i loved the tongue in cheek story for BFBC2, it provided more lolz than MW2, which i also loved for its uber-franchise-action-fest-ripoff.

still love the both of them. :P

BF:BC was a much more fun story than BF:BC2, still have it floating around for my 360 because it was just a silly good time.

I honestly had more fun in BC1 multiplayer than I did BC2 multiplayer. I cannot explain why, maybe it was the simplicity of it compared to BF2 or that there wasn't endless focusing on balance of weapons and minute details such ammo calibur and bullet drop etc... It just seemed fun, and this was my first real go at a console FPS :| I hope they bring BC1 maps (anyone remember the Golf course map?) to BF3 but I see the chances of that are slim to none

It's funny - I was playing this the other day, and it really was a good fun game. BF3 has gone too far away from the fun of BF2/1942 imo. It has become ultimateseriousface type of game these days....

Very true, agree with this.

Bf2 is still the best multiplayer, BC2 strangely I feel had the best maps, BF3 was the prettiest and BC1 had easily the best SP.

....and 1942 was the original king, and they need to bring a new one out for the new frostbite. Needs to happen. I will pay. with souls. mine and others. please..

...and never cared for 2142.

It’s about a group of misfits going AWOL to steal some gold. If Medal of Honor or Call of Duty is trying to be Saving Private Ryan, then Bad Company is somewhere between Three Kings and M*A*S*H.

You mean like 'Kelly's heroes' with Clint Eastwood, a Movie about 'a group of misfits going AWOL to steal some gold' :D

Let's not pretend its an original plot here.

I thought BC1 was a bit boring and then the Conquest patch came out and it was great fun.

Par For The Course was a good map and should have come to BC2.

In my pants, along with this rather large river trout! What the hell is that doing in there with my love for BC2.

On a serious note, Every BF has rocked, and continues to improve in game play.
Well, except for BF3, which makes me disgusted with the entire human race. A map that looks like glow worms are having sex? really, porn in games now days... and animal / insect porn at that!

Never played the original Bad company, loved the characters through BC2 though, and I love that trailer. I should find a (cheap) ps3 copy to give it a bash, even if it has aged somewhat poorly.
