It seems to be easier to get in atm.

The lag isnt too bad, a bit noticeable now and then, but no real complaint from me on that front.

Well it's probably easier to get in now rather than the first hour of the test...

Thanks for posting that! I had no idea that they were doing a kickstarter for Grim Dawn. So giving them my money!

OT: After playing through the beta, I can definitely tell that Path Of Exile is a Diablo clone. Infact, PoE does it so well, I think ill just play PoE instead of D3, considering that I've never played the first 2 Diablo games and have no emotional attachment to the story/characters/franchise. No doubt i'll probably miss out on a good game, but inbetween PoE, GW2 PvE and eventually Grim Dawn, I cant see myself having the time to play it.

EDIT: also don't change your server preference to 'Asia'. When I did that I couldn't log in so I changed it back to America.

Played a few hours solo, doesn't seem like my kind of thing at all.
Unless i am missing the ability to move using keys and only use the mouse to cast?
Found it pretty frustrating in the control department because of that...

Not bad, but...not the best either. Honestly like that they've developed the world a little better, feels more RPGish. Still, maybe I'm missing something, can you actually develop your character your way? I kind of miss distributing stat points and working with a skill tree, maybe I'm doing something wrong? Or maybe that happens when you hit a certain level? :? Just by looking at the system it looks like there is little to no character customization, that can't be right, can it?

I've been having a blast with the beta so far, far better than I expected but with the server dropping in and out its pretty frustrating. There is lots of nods and winks to the old school players of the first two games but also a lot of new stuff for people who are new to the game to enjoy.
Though I do find the animations a bit clunky and I don't like the knock back animation, but over all I will be pre ordering this game (if I have the money).

this, its a shame not to see this in the game, what is is that your able to have all the powers in the skill tree unlike D1 and D2 where you would have to choose if you ether wanted to jump further or stamp the ground harder where this is a taste of every thing.

They've also done this rune thing were you can use an item or something to change a skill in a really big way, like from Direct Damage to an AoE type thing. But over all, it's just Diablo. It's hard to get that excited about playing Diablo 2 with some streamlining and fresh paint.
