I have 50gigs, might be 60gigs after Monday as apparently i'm being moved over to Internode (iiNet) hardware. But if it negatively affects my speed or ping or my access to Usenet i'm going to be furious.

From Telstra hardware? I wouldn't worry about that, there should be little to no difference.

When that happened the only effect was a 10ms ping drop when pinging google and my download speed jumped 1mb/s =p

Tis good.

You did read that they are doing this to stress the servers right? and not for you enjoyment?

I've put alotta time into the beta already, and I'll login every now and then over the weekend to help stress test it. Games fairly polished as is so far. The change to the skill UI is still bad, but I'm used to it now so meh.

I don't expect it to be that laggy. They'd have built in some load capacity and would just be using the test to tweak it. This is battle.net we're talking about.

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

Completely irrelevant and probably not applicable but that IT Crowd quote just came to my head after reading that.

Also, every stress test I've been involved in for various games this year has been completely lag free.

give it a crack man
you wont be disappointed

i played on my brother beta key
i kinda felt that i didnt want to so i didnt ruin anything story wise
but you experience so very little during the beta it wasnt a problem
if you have seen any of the trailers or hell , even played the older games
your not going to ruin anything

i would keep in mind however, just like other betas they have kept the download size as small as possible by not including high rez textures or assets
and its still quite a gorgeous game

Still up at 10 to 5... 10 minutes to go.

I've been registered for the beta all along, and with a SC2 account as well, but no key yet. So I want to actually play, lol.

Pretty impressed with the title screen music, at the least...

It's almost soothing, lol.

Got an error stating the Diablo 3 license wasn't on my account, however Retrying strait after fixed it
