Napoleonic Wars DLC now Available for Mount & Blade Warband

New DLC just released for Mount & Blade: Warband allows players to take part in the Napoleonic Wars, as well as in multiplayer battles of up to 250 people at once. The DLC, which is multiplayer only and priced at $9.99, contains five nations, 220 unique units, artillery, a new engineer class who can put down barricades, trenches and explosives, as well as a new 'commander battle mode' where you can lead troops directly into battle. The new DLC was actually made by Flying Squirrel Entertainment rather than Taleworlds as it was spun out of the Mount & Musket multiplayer mod, but the original developers claim to have closely supervised its creation and to be exceptionally happy with the results. Hmmm that would be what the update was but it was only 23MB surely that isnt the entire "DLC".
EDIT: It downloads it after you buy it. I cant wait to try it out.
I should have waited to see whether the DLC MP becomes popular enough I would hate to have wasted $10.

the 23mb patch was just an update, which apparently is **** things up for some people.

SO apparently Warband now has 200+ player support... they must've REALLY tweaked the netcode in that patch then. Doesn't seem legit at all. Not that there are 200 players around to test this on anyway. 200 characters, lowpoly as they are, used to drop FPS quite a lot anyway.

Also apparently they **** up the bundle, so you can get could've gotten all mount&blade games + the DLC for $8 rather than pay $10 for just the DLC. Although it seems they've fixed that now.

Yes I noticed the price screw ups earlier. I have Warband already and was never keen on getting Fire and Sword (edit oops), but picked that up for the $2.49 they were asking, cant go too wrong at that price.

So whats the word on Napoleonic from those that might know more? Worth a purchase, or more of the same?

General consensus is don't bother. Apparently there's also a mod coming out that will do the same thing anyway.

Also the Warband update REALLY **** the text up, in multi every text object (besides chat) is mixed up. Even the menus.
