SW:TOR Character Transfers to Asia Pacific Servers Available Now

As of yesterday, until the 24th of April, you can now transfer your SW:TOR character to an Asia Pacific server (as long as they were created before February 28). If you want to take part in this service, you need to apply via an online form and it may take upwards of seven days to process all the characters, but afterwards, you'll have a character on a far more local server, meaning less lag and more players! Get cracking.

It'd be better if I could transfer to any server :/ .. whilst the aussies are popular.. they're going to become unmanageable with numbers. .. the idea of having to wait to play SWTOR isn't high on my list of things to do. The game isn't that good.

Yaaaaay. All my crafting classes are on the US server, I've been unable to do anything but slicing since moving across.

I see they also modified the 'free 30 days' offer to allow for people with a legacy level of level 6 by April 22nd.
Once again though, I 'just' miss out because that's 2 days before the transfers start, which would have combined my legacies to qualify

Edit: OK, what the heck. I just checked my profile page and it changed my country from Australia to the United States, so apparently I don't qualify for transfers.

Edit #2: Submitted a ticket but my hopes aren't very high.

The page is broken for me too It says that I can choose from a list of available characters at the bottom, but there are no characters there. Frustrating.

Yes about time I've been waiting so long, and i must have snuck in because i selected my tranfers about an hour ago and it was working

Worth a shot. If you follow the info on the website you should be able to go into your account page and it will tell you if you have valid chars for the transfer.

Yeah it is down for everyone, theyre working on a hot fix at the moment.

A tip for all ops players out there, dont be too impulsive - it may be worth doing ec on your current server and THEN transfering to see if it will reset your saves (like it did in WoW).
