EA Updates Origin Account Policy, Users Can Now Play Single-Player Games While Banned

Under previous versions of Origin, users who had their accounts banned were forbidden from playing not only online multiplayer games but also their offline single-player counterparts. A recent change in that policy has now allows banned players to play single-player games, a move which brings Origin in line with Steam's policy on the same issue. "If you find yourself with a disabled account, please note that you can still play EA games in single-player mode," reads the policy. "For PC games you will need to enable Origin's offline mode to play games with a disabled account. Go to the settings tab in Origin (the gear icon) and select Go Offline."

I still find it odd how a multi-billion dollar company is forcing it's customers to use a piece of software that is still in Beta and has a plethora of bugs in the first place; and manages to get away with it.
Hell, as a sign... Origin has never allowed me to buy anything on it as the store page has never been able to load, just a white screen.

Still waiting for a complete rewrite to remove the spyware section of origin, Sadly as that will become the most profitable part 10 years time when everyone has forgotten that its still there.... and still recording their data..
I dont see EA removing it as a change of EULA was enough to satisfy idiots..
