Totally.

Among the first games I remember playing, is this little gem from 1984 (as old as myself):

It unbelievable how much content they managed to pack in a game as small as ~30 kb, back then. 8)

The first PC game I ever played would have been either Age of Empires, Heroes of Might and Magic, Mechwarrior 2, or Road Rash.

My first ever game was either Asteroid or Dodge'em Cars on the C64. Around the same time, I also experienced the Atari 2600. My first ever experience with a PC was an Amstrad running DOS, playing Kings Quest, Sopwith Camel or a first person racing game of which I can't remember the name (From memory, it definately strikes me as a precursor to the old style Need for Speed.)

Chuck Yeager Flight Simulator C64
Beachhead C64 which i had on tape lol
Archon C64 - Awesome combat chess game was never the best at chess least i was a good action gamer
Cauldron C64
Ghouls and Ghosts C64
And Some battleship game i cant for the life of me remember the name maybe someone can help me out. You commanded a battleship (sim style) around shelling coastal forts and sending planes out to bomb other ships b4 shelling them to death i even think you could man aa guns too.

Well the first game that I bought as a stand-alone, not limited to PC, was Gods for the Amiga. That was a great game.

Game and watch style games got me into gaming iirc.

Donkey Kong, Oil Panic, Diamond Hunter (or something like that). Some of those old racing games where you had 3-5 lanes to move to. Some ghost one. Then my favourite of all, Pizzzza! which had 2 screens with a control set on each side. Then I had the bright idea of letting my friends control one side and there was my first co-op experience. :D

My first NES, PC games ect. I can't even remember the names or order these days. Ghostbusters and simcity on C64 would be some of my early favorites though.

MOONSTONE

And yes, I remember Stunts. I used to go visit my mate Josh and then ignore him as I played that for hours. I played it so much I used to see the tracks when I was in the car with Mum... it was just so fluid and so exciting!

But for me, gaming started with Mario's Cement Factory on my Nintendo Game and Watch (around 1982 I think). Then the Vectrex with the coloured screens you could clip to the monitor for each game. Then the tape-loaded C64.

I really do wish I was being born today though as I don't feel nostalgia for those games... I'm glad I was there to see the tail end of gaming's formative years, but really, I think gaming now is better than it's ever been... people are just too blinded by the hiss of internet noise to be able to appreciate it.

C64 ahhh yeah.
Don't remember much though!
I remember a microprose helicopter game that had ride of the valkyries at the start.
I remember one called bazooka bill or something.
I remember one about an alien on mars with a big head. Edit: I was Dan Dare!
Impossible Mission "Ahh a new visitor, stay a while. staaaaaay FOREVER!"
Summer games/Winter games
River Raid
Zamzara
WIZARD OF WORLOCK - used to freak me out so much

Blue screen, Load, Ready, Run. How awesome was the tape player with all the flashy colors on the screen.
Man. Nostalgia, hardcore.

My cousins had a commodore amiga with some game about rescuing chicks in bikinis who had been kidnapped by aliens. Edit: Escape from the planet of the robot monstors!
And the New Zealand adventure or something.
And James Pond.

OK if you need me i'll be on youtube for the next 3 hours
