I went to my local DS around 12.30pm. Over 90% of the stuff on sale was gone but I did manage to get a few games:

Sooooooooooooooooo glad I didn't go in today. So dodged a bullet. Still wish I could have gotten some stuff though but checking their website the store I was going to go to has had all its stuff gone.

The whole situation has been so disgusting and as far as i'm concerned it was advertising when they enthusiastically confirmed the leak on facebook.

collonades store still has about 5 g27 wheels at about $190 i already got g25 tho so was no good 4 me

They were selling G27's for $139 on the weekend, they still had $299 as the marked price, but scanned (and sold) for $139

Well I guess to be fair some stuff is going to be sold at a reduced price at a later date.

They may be covered be the fact they stated that stock was limited.

Limited and simply not available are two pretty different things. I hope there are some consequences for this as it was pretty clear they never had a lot of the stock they advertised but chose to confirm the sale anyway.

Bit dodgy none the less, not that I normally but from them anyway but it makes me less inclined to go in future.

Pretty much this. They wont ever get my money no matter what now. I'll just watch and laugh as they fade in to non existence.

Can anyone confirm whether the leaked price list was actually true? As in Xbox consoles were going for $100, in addition to the cheap accessories and games?

If this is an attempt at viral marketing, it seems to have worked...and backfired.

It was real but apparently changed a lot. A friend of mine has managed to bag himself an Xbox for $100. The one with NWC.

Essentially this was a leak to a standard business practice of removing old stock that got blown way out of proportion which Dicksmith made worse by confirming (enthusiastically I may add) yet did not stress there would be 0 stock of everything and that this was just to get rid of the few items they still had. Being so enthusiastic about it was Dicksmith probably trying to get people into the stores.
