TBH, it's sudden increase in popularity in Australia is kind of annoying. The genre has been around for a long time, and suddenly it's become a fad. If I was a long time dubstep fan, and had moved on the more cutting edge pastures, I'd probably have nothing but scorn for all these indie-kids-turned-dubstep-freaks.

But that would just make me feel old

I'm not one for dupstep, but it did work for that trailer.

As long as it doesn't get repetitive like the first games I'll go for it.

I can't believe people are even talking about the music in a trailer..... quit raging about the trailer music and start talking about where we're setting up the coop lan parties. The game looks more of the awesome too coop fraggin fun that my mates and I sunk 100+ hours into bl1!

This is an absolute MUST buy for me!

I doubt that the essential other half of any trailer (soundtrack) would be squandered on a 4 minute unfunny 'joke'. It was put together too competently for that. I actually think the dubstep was sincere.

Looks like they've addressed one of my big issues with the original at least, the lack of variety in the environments. I got over the rubbish planet scenery by the end of act I and my main motivation to finish the game was mostly due to just wanting to find another environment. Which only changed for about 10 minutes in the final area.

Still want to see more videos of the combat in this one though before I make my mind up on a purchase. If the combat has some sort of depth to it this time I'll be sold. Got rather boring being able to deal with every enemy in the exact same way with the only diversity being which element they are vulnerable to.

The shield guys look like they'll spice things up a bit in that area at least, assuming they are a common enemy and not a boss. But still too hard to judge the rest from what I've seen so far. Hoping those mechs require some tricky tactics.
