Except when it comes to DRM.
I bet the developers think along the lines of... "Lets make the paying PC gamers life harder and implement lots of restrictive DRM!".
I would rather go back to the days of the CD keys, at-least I'm not forced to have an internet connection on my LAN machines, sign up for multiple services or have to use things like Steam or Origin.
Take a look at GTAIV for example, it's a horribly optimized console game, you buy it on steam spend several hours downloading it.
Once you are done and you go to install it... It forces you to install Games for Windows Live!, then you have to register for that.
Then you are forced to register for Rockstar Pass. - So that's hours of your time before you even get to the main menu.
Then you need to hope nothing buggers up in the mean time, not to mention you get a performance increase if you use exotic means to disable said DRM.
Yes the PC is superior from a technical view point, but hardly superior from an ease of use perspective because these game developers have made it several multiples more of a headache to even bother. (Yet, Pirates don't have to deal with none of this.)
I do love PC gaming, but it's getting allot harder to love PC gaming when they make stuff so difficult.
