Is EA Handpicking Battlefield 3 Reviewers to Obtain Favourable Scores?

Unread postby News Portal » 20 Oct 11, 11:03 am

[app=5812]Battlefield 3[/app] is shaping up to be the must have title of 2011. BF3 is a big deal, I don't find it very suprising that EA would try anything they think they could get away with to get the most out of it.

Yeah, wouldn't be the first time.

But it's equally disgusting how much weight a favorable Metacritic score carries.

Marketing or not, unless the reviewer is accepting payments from Activision under the table, you'd expect Battlefield 3 to obtain positive reviews on its merits alone.

It's a great game so far but isn't perfect.

LOL of coarse EA are cherry picking, its what they do, you'd have to be intensely naive to think otherwise. They did not make a mistake at all it's just hot air because it was brought into the public light.

I don't think OCD is the same as any religious beliefs you might have

EA wouldn't be the first and won't be the last to do this.

Seeing as it's likely going to get average to good reviews regardless I doubt it'll break 90 on metacritic. EA are just trying to play the game again, and yes its a vile game...
