Will Wright Continuing to Work on New Games

Game designer and general luminary Will Wright has revealed that he is - perhaps unsurprisingly - continuing to work on developing new games. This new project marks his first one since 2008's Spore, the strange game of evolution, mutation and spaceships. This new game, also unsurprisingly for Will Wright, will be taking things in a new direction.

could be good

spore was a great idea but piss-poorly executed because it was clearly made so 5 year olds could understand it. That idea with more complexity would have been epic.

what Will Wright's games need is a sprinkling of Sid Meier IMO, or at least more of the depth his old games used to have.

I actually had 7 year olds bringing spore back saying it was boring.

it definitely needed the sid mier influence, too simplistic and stupid repetetive ****. 1st level was kinda fun, then downhill
