Even more exclusive armour in Mass Effect 2 CE

EA has revealed that a Collectors' Edition of Mass Effect 2 will be available in 'limited quantities' early next year. Sold in a custom tin package, this deluxe edition will bundle the game with a 48-page art book, a comic, a behind-the-scenes documentary DVD, and exclusive in-game items.

These weapons and armour will be denied to cheapskates who buy the standard edition...

And so begins the age of paying for exlusive game items to get the upperhand. Not a good direction.

In a single player game. Aka not worth it.

Only time it might be worth it was if the stuff being given would be better than end-game gear. And if you're able to obtain it simply by forking out extra $$ then there's a problem.

The armor isn't that great. while the tin box, DVD and art book is ok, Id rather a figure or a special weapon. A Geth figure would be sweet and well worthy part of a collectors edition.

it would be nice if making of DVD's became standard like in DVD's rather than limited to the more expensive collector's edition
