As a note, FIFA10 on pc is terrible. TERRIBLE.

Graphics are WORSE than cosole. Movements are not the same, teammates are stupid.

Even with a Xbox usb controller, it was TERRIBLE. Tops on XBox though

FIFA10: awesome animation, commentary, and 25+ official leagues, so 1000s of players and 100s of official teams.

PES:better visuals, crappy animation, crap commentary, about 2 leagues...

PES always has been and always will be the king of SPORTS GAMES what the fsck is FIFA, its like comparing the A-league with English premier league. BTW i have played both demos on multipule platforms and yeah once again, without a doubt PES wins 3-0. IMHO

That's because FIFA 10 on PC is actually FIFA 2008. Definitely one for the console.


Most people agree that FIFA 10 is the better game this time around.

Doing sports games on a PC is as silly as doing FPS on a console.

I have played Pro Evo's for 10 years and it was always far far ahead of FIFA. But then the PS3 and 360 came out and PES was terrible. FIFA was terrible. So i kept playing PES5 on PC. But i gotta say i bought both the new FIFA and PES this year and FIFA wins for me this time around.

Konami will get it straight within a year or 2 though i reckon.

PES 5 is still the best footy game u can play though and plays how footy should be played.

They successfully port FPS after FPS from the console without changing a fscking thing, so I figured "Why would they start making a COMPLETELY different game for this franchise"

Nice head to head review. I think in PES the players are better represented in the game compared to FIFA. FIFA tends to concentrate to much on the physical side of players which almost renders the messi's of the game to be useless.



Well, from what I've been playing they don't do this often. The only time they are out of position for a pass is when I break away to far or to quickly from my support. I find that in this installment of PES the defense is much tighter, you will not see score lines of 5-0 like you did in PES 2009 unless you are playing a rubbish team or on a easy difficulty setting.

I think on the consoles FIFA have managed to get their nose in front, otherwise on PC PES is the pretty much the obvious choice.

PES 2010 shits over FIFA 10... on the PC.

On every other platform, FIFA wins, hands down.

I dunno if anyone else has noticed, buy FIFA 10 seems to be glitched like a bitch?

Heaps of the accomplishments dont register when they should, and some register when they shouldn't. It told me i'd scored 50 finesse shots in my career (which I hadnt). Then I got a whole heap of other achievements that I deserved. After autosaving and restarting the game later, it had forgotten all of my achievements from the past 2 hours play?! So yea.. PISSED OFF.

On top of that, every time I go NEAR another play I foul, yet the PC takes me out and runs away to score..

Yeah, a lot of fans are complaining about the bugs on the FIFA release. Heard there were apparently 90+ bugs and rants of EA releasing a Beta game for the fans to play, lol!

FIFA 2008 is actually FIFA 2007 is actually FIFA 2006 is actually FIFA 2005 is actually FIFA 2004 is actually FIFA 2002.

Think I'm joking? Go buy FIFA 2002, and FIFA 2010. Play a regular game for a couple minutes then switch.

Really, FIFA on PC isn't so much a sports title as much as it is a 'spot the differences!' game.

Which is why I play FIFA09 on PS3. Why 09? First new game to drop once I got my PS3. Why am I not even remotely interested in FIFA2010 on PS3? Because FIFA 2010 is actually FIFA 2009 is actually FIFA 2008 is actually FIFA 2007.

One thing PES has going for it is consistency. It's equally as bad on consoles as it is on PC. I think that PES2008 was actually BETTER then 2009 and 2010. But I do totally agree, they need to revamp their engine. It's that dated that the core gameplay needs a complete overhaul. And they'd better do it soon. What they should do is spend the money fixing it NOW, otherwise, after the last couple years of poor reviews, people will forget about PES altogether, and by that point, it'll be too late to fix.
