Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS Review)

We're hearing reports that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars isn't really selling all that well, which is interesting as it keeps popping up in the Weekly Video Games Charts near the top of the DS list. Maybe Australians are bucking the trend, or maybe "near the top" just ain't good enough for Rockstar Games.

Either way, Matt Keller tried hard to forget earlier handheld renditions of the GTA series, and picked up this new DS version with an open mind, and his review book ready.

Nice review

I've started to get hooked into it, the missions are fantastically done, even to the detail of jacking cars, stopping bombs, etc.

Only frustrations with the game is getting used the view on the DS (which you manually rotate to follow the players direction, as you walk), and the controls, but thats not a flaw on the game, just me

The only other thing is the lack of decent wireless support on the DS, but thats a whole other issue... suffice to say that I'd rather have decent wireless security than upload my stats to Roackstar Live
