Left 4 Dead to on sale this weekend to tempt free trial user

Just in case you'd forgotten, about a little announcement that Valve made yesterday regarding a free trial for Left 4 Dead, which is on now - they've added something to sweeten the deal. A temporary discount on all copies of Left 4 Dead purchased through Steam.

While the trial only runs for around the next twenty four hours, the sale of Left 4 Dead is to last all weekend. The discount is fairly hefty, at 40% off, which is sure to boost sales of the game when one considers the free trial currently going on in the darkened corners of the Internet.

I purchased my copy like last month from Ozcdkeys, $36 AUSSIE. Beats the $40 US from steam.

Yeah, seems like it..

I would only buy keys from those sites if it's for Steam

well for the boxed retail games i guess you would have to aquire the game from somewhere such as a torrent or a friend. ive bought a few EA DL keys from there though and they work fine, i'd imagine with the L4D key you just open up Steam and manually add it aswell.
