Call of Duty: World at War - Double-XP MP Weekend

It's only been out for PC for a week, but already the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 has been a runaway success. To celebrate the pack's success - and to thank gamers for their support, the guys at Treyarch have announced a Double-XP MP Weekend, kicking off in the wee hours of Saturday morning (Adelaide time) and running until the same time on Tuesday.

To be specific, the event runs from 10am PDT Friday 17th April until 10am Monday 20th - that's 2:30am Saturday - Tuesday, if you're in Adelaide.

The really exciting news? This is for all platforms - whether you're playing World at War on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 or even the Wii, you'll be getting twice the experience points just for playing.

should get back into it... stop playing when my profile got corrupted and lost my xp....

Err, seriously what's the points of this? There is already servers that give you like 20k a kill or just edit some files, pointless.

I'm pretty sure (but not 100% sure) those XP servers havn't been around since the first patch. And those servers don't apply to console users of the game.

Same, but my profile wasn't corrupted, the game and its players just began to bore me. The lack of a working Co-op server browser for me really sucked.
