I was chatting with a video game writer the other day - unlike me, she writes for games, not about them - and she was telling about how enjoyable her job really is. One of the tasks given to her very early on in her career was to write dialogue for the original Destroy All Humans games. Apparently, writing three pages of variations of "Argh! I'm on fire!" is every bit as brain-numbing as you'd expect.

That aside, the early Destroy All Humans titles were pretty enjoyable from all accounts. According to Matt Keller however, it seems these days have passed, with the fourth title in the series - Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon - not-quite living up to its predecessors. Hehe, I played the first destroy all humans on my first xbox, had some good fun with that. Shame the next ones were trash

That's probably because it was was intended to be a 2008 release ?

For no apparent reason, the North American PS3 version (due to be released concurrently with the 360 version which hit the shelves on 1st December 2008) was cancelled... the only PS3 release came when the game was released in Europe (and hence Australia) on the 360 and PS3. *shrug*

This is such a dissapointment, the original DAH was one of the best games on the original Xbox, even the sequel wasnt too bad, but these guys have destroyed one of the best gaming franchises Australia ever created.
