Flower (PS3 Review)

Way back in 2007, we told you about flOw, an innovative PlayStation 3 title from a new developer, thatgamecompany. Your task then was to navigate a collection of levels, playing as a plankton-like creature, eating other creatures and evolving as you go.

Today, we'd like to share with you a review of Flower, which doesn't involve microbes, there are no amoebas in sight, and you're no longer swimming through the primordial ooze. Instead, you are a gentle breeze, wafting along and picking up petals in the company's second, almost zen-like release for the console, which nonetheless pushes the boundaries and our expectations. Matt Keller is more relaxed for the experience.

It's the only game where I've ever had to play the credit sequence at the end.

Not so much a game as a relaxing mental massage. Almost zero replayability but it's just so darned nice that $15 seems to be quite a fair price.

in smash bros melee you got to shoot the credits. that's all i have to say. :sulkoff:

iirc you had to 'play' the credits of flow.

i find this game is even better value as initially seen, as you can share your psn purchases with 4 other people, making it only $3 each.

i am sharing it with my brother so its only $7.5

fantastic game.
