Flash banner help

I'm stuck... trying to create a simple flash ad banner. I just cannot get my head around the animation process of moving/fading text.

Any help or links to useful (non time wasting) you tube tutorials would be helpful, or even if someone can 'knock it up' for me that would be appreciated.

I'm not anti flash, but if its just moving text, then there is a lot of javascript that will do it
