video editing help

Unread postby Kruz » 23 Jul 10, 7:22 pm

i need a little help with editing a video clip.
i recorded a TV show on my computer but the stupid thing didn't stop recording when i told it to :x
so it recorded for 11hrs while i slept (25Gb file) :P
all i want to do is "crop" the clip from the beginning to 1.5hrs in where the show ends and then put it on a DVD.

thanks :)

virtual dub will split it without the need to re-encode.

virtual dub doesn't work with .mpg files, but Windows Live Movie Maker worked like a charm ;)
