Hi all,

I am currently working in Adobe Indesign CS4 developing some stationary for my up coming wedding.

My situation is this. I have the screen set to A4 size and I have managed to create rows of 2cm down the page. they have a small gutter between them.

When I print the page, none of the guide show. I would like these to print as well so we know were to cut.

Does anyone know how to include Cut lines in InDesign CS4?

i think the ruler guides are display only and you may have to draw the lines in yourself (dont know much about indesign )

i assume that the guide lines your talking about are from dragging them off the ruler? if so then yes there are "visual" guides that only show up on the screen... ctrl + ; will show/hide ruler guides.

a simple thing you can do is keep the visual guides on the screen, grab the line tool looks like a \ on the tool dock, then just click at one end of the paper and hold and release at the other end... when i do this a series of arrows appear the whole length of the page.

if you want dotted line, select the solid black arrow tool on the left and select the lines you wish to make solid. at the top in the middle you will see a "P" and to the right it says 1pt with a drop down menu and under that a solid black line. hit the solid black line and the drop down will show and now select "dashed" 3&2 or 4&4 which ever tickles your fancy
