I'm surprised nobody has wet themselves laughing from the first 6 seconds of that video hahaha. That guy is unintentionally hysterical.

He looks like an Asian Barney Stinson XD

The funny thing is that many of these companies make "gamer" items that (much of the time) are gimmicky **** that actually screw with your performance, i'm sure i cant be the only one who heard the words "touchscreen and colour keys" and thought "maaan... that's an expensive paperweight".

A touchscreen laptop with little screens on the keys might look kinda cool but **** me... when was the last time you LOOKED at a key in a game? During my MMO time I was quite happy to rely on muscle memory and customizable keybinds in-game to handle 20+ binds. It doesn't matter if i'm killing dragons or fragging an enemy bunker, I have better things to do with my eyes than look at a keyboard or touch a screen, my hands NEVER move from the default position and all my keybinds are set to be accessible from there.

I don't want to control **** with my mind, i don't want my keys to light up with little pictures i can look at, i want it cheap, high quality and responsive. Who the hell wants to use a touchscreen in a videogame? that might look cool in a 3d sci-fi movie but it's cumbersome and time consuming in real life.

*raises hand*

Used to be able to touchtype and do what I needed to in game without needing to check the keyboard. Problem is I went from:

Those series of G-Keys and the function keys grouped in 4s and not 3s, you'll think it's a little thing but man, it's damn confusing now a month and a bit on. Before I could type blindly, hitting every key I needed while the keyboard was tucked into the slide-out desk. Now I find myself at the start of every session, needing to pull out the keyboard, aligning my fingers to WASD or to ASDF and IJK; before I start a task and even then, I'll overshoot and hit the G-Keys instead of TAB or Caps, so I begin the stupid task of pulling out the keyboard and realigning my fingers again.

Not to mention that your fingers would be covering it anyway..

Heh, try changing your entire keyboard layout :P I'm testing out DVORAK for something to do, see if it's actually that good.
What can change the nature of a man?

Does it really not have a trackball or joystick? Seems crazy. A multi-touch screen isn't a full substitute for a mouse by any means.

Love the idea, although it's pretty much what I use my 12" netbook for anyway.

Looks like a semi-clever way to try and sell more wireless mouses to wow players.

I dunno, i don't see any benefit in it for me over a gaming laptop (which you could probably make 10x as beefy for the price). Unless of course razer slap me and say "it's only $400" or something like that lol.

Yeah it all depends on price, as for touch screens, it's a must on netbooks trying to be mobile. Even if it's not for every game, I could play bejewelled 3 with it on the bus :P and play warcraft 3 with the mouse on my lunch breaks. :)

Of course your not going to do everything with a touch screen.
