Skyrim Skill Point Question

Unread postby Kendrite » 16 Jan 12, 3:53 pm

Just getting started with this (lvl 5). I've read you should try to focus on one or two skill trees and not spread the points out too thin.

How strict is this? I've not really decided on a play-style though will stick with light armour.

I've put 2 points to light armour (the first one that increases it's effectiveness), 1 in destruction and 1 in restoration.

Is this OK or should I just stick with one branch (constellation) at a time?

Not trying to go for the best build or anything but don't want to gimp myself either.

Suggestions appreciated.

im a elder scrolls noob , my first time playing through to ...

i started just adding to one-handed and destruction , im now level 30 and only have a few more skills for each of those left to get , so ive started branching out abit , been smithing hardcore for the sick armor and adding to heavy armor and two handed coz i just wanna charge round in daedric armor with a huge axe and be a badarse.. :o

i do want to complete a skill tree or 2 though so i wont branch too much , depends what you want to do really , play how you want , thats what i did , can't really do much wrong... or am i wrong?.. :)

Put the perks in whatever you are using.
You get one every level, so don't worry too much.

It's best to upskill to your style of play. Me? I use destruction magic and one handed weapons a lot. So I've used my perks in those two trees plus a few in armor and sneaking.
