Well I found Falkognac's 2nd picture. I thought I had the last one as well but there are at least 2 places that are very similar but not actually that place.

It is the place you go to with that 'special knife' that is supposedly stronger than any other knife, to get the sap from the tree so the lady in whiterun can make the town tree live again (at least that is what I thought it was).

Damn I HATE that in these adventure games! It does not matter how much you explore outside above that point overhead, you will NEVER find that opening of light! It is those glaring in accuracies that get my goat in most of the dungeons I run through.

The entrance to the cave is a portal to a cave on another world, you just don't realise it, this is why we have these, what you call, inaccuracies.

Well for anyone who is interested in where my first pic came from, details with pictures in the hidden tag, just in case you still want to find it by yourself

to reach the destination yourself, travel east from Stendars Beacon, and you will reach the location shown here

This is in the south east corner of all Skyrim

Now there is a strange occurance about this here wall, you cannot go up to it, and this really pisses me off.

Note the "You cannot got hat way" message in the top corner, this is to inform you that you have hit an invisible wall. What i really don't get is why they didn't just move the invisible wall up to the archway and put a big wooden city gate sort of thing there, and just have it not able to be opened...
oh and the second picture was kinda funny as you seem to get stuck on the invisible wall in mid air, instead of just falling back down like if it was a normal wall.
