Mods you want

Unread postby Marius » 16 Nov 11, 12:00 pm

What are some of the mods people have already decided would be a good idea?

I'm thinking about porting a toggle hide helmet mod over from Oblivion when the mod kit comes out. It's annoying having all your intricate character design work be covered.

And in b4 UI discussion.

Keyring and book sorter/placement mod plz.
I have about three of every key I own so far and I would like to neatly show off my (stolen) book collection on a shelf and not have them be hidden away in my chests.

This, too.
There's an infinite amount of dragons, but they only spawn in about 15 spots and they take forever to respawn.

1) Harder dragons. They shouldn't be less scary than being jumped by Saber cats or Hawkers.
2) Shields that sheathe, preferably onto your back and being able to have two weapons on your belt.
3) Sorting save games by character.

Hopefully going to try doing this over my holiday, for something different.

Any game where you get to choose your face should have this! Grats to Bioware for making it happen with Mass Effect and so on, but yes, I totally agree. I'd install this mod for sure.

I assume you're playing it on Master difficulty already?

The alternative I was thinking if I can't get that to work is to allow the light armour feats to work with if you have just three light armour pieces, so at least an entire skill tree isn't nerfed if you want to preserve your look.

Seeing the face makes a big difference to the final look.

Was going to mention just that... Trolls and Saber Cats cause me far more difficulty than dragons.

I won't be seeing mods on my xbox copy, only 'DLC' :(

Nope, but is it safe to assume all it does it up the health like every thing else? Either way, not really the point. It's about their comparative difficulty.

Blood dragons bite me into two pieces (great cutscene) when I am on full health. Their tail hits for half my health. No problems with their difficulty here

Maybe it's character dependent. I definitely find dragons more difficult than trolls, giants, or sabre cats.

All those are easy to stagger with a bow. Trolls and giants (on master difficulty) don't reach me before they die, and sabre cats get blown backwards by the shout.

Dragons, though, have a nasty habit of blocking my line of site with their fire breath.

Speaking of difficulty, I'm not really seeing a difference between normal and master. The damage things do on master should be increased. I do die a few times, but overall the game is easy... a lot easier than dragon age or mass effect.

It'd be a hard game to balance though with the many character combinations.

I wouldn't mind a mod that lets you recharge weapons via the favourites window instead of having to go through the inventory.

Well I just died three times in a row fighting a bandit camp and two dragons at once.

The problem is if I drop anywhere below 100% health the dragons instant kill me with their bite.

So different characters have different problems. I eat giants for breakfast, but dragons are tough.
