my jaw dropped at the price of that PC, I wonder what kind of setup it is to cost so much, though I was kinda hoping it was $11k worth of prices as in there'd be heaps of stuff up for grabs so many people can get some cool stuff

can only think of BC2 that i've played this year lols

I think it's outrageous that I'm not yet able to enter this competition, it shows a clear bias against me. You can expect to recieve a very sternly worded feedback email presently.

I think its ok to like mega popular games, such as COD black ops. in perspective starcraft 2 was a huge seller but limited to the pc. but why hate cod and not starcraft? of course u could choose something terribly obscure like, idk, limbo :)

ignorance is bliss i suppose

So this isnt the place to discuss what you think is the best game of 2010? No one said it had to be secret who you were voting for.

This is an announcement that the competition will be starting. The T and C haven't even been released.

T&Cs are generally irrelevant for me, I have moved to the land of the Hobbits and a generally not eligible for any prizes.

Bad Company 2 has to win Sound-wise. The Multiplayer sort of sucked.

Projector setups are damn expensive. Though It's a good guess SLi GTX 580's and a core i7 980x.

I think PCPP used to feature a PC every month costing ten grand or so. But that was with lots of accessories like a projector, along with peripherals and cosmetic stuff like case modding.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was wondering how you could get a $11,000 PC.

I imagine the projector and the display would be a significant part, but where are the other pricey parts inside? Graphics card? Some SSD Hard drives? Guess we'll have to wait until next week to see how it all breaks down.

Ah, I think the highest I saw was 11k, but I was by no means a regular reader. It seems kinda silly to me. I can't help but think that most of that stuff would end up unused and in the way with most games.
