And we have a winner. We just couldn't go past this pun-tastic entry. Check your PMs for details on how to claim your prize!

K.B wrote:The recent release of Xbox's infamous "GameCrush" service has sadly revealed a hole in the market that must be capitalised upon.

To take advantage of the loneliness and social ineptitude of said subscribers, I present you with 'Project Natal-ie' (because originality should never get in the way of a good pun)

In this game, players interact with a virtual person (whom we shall call Natalie) to master the subtle nuances of social interaction. Areas include small talk, eye-contact and body language.

Settings would range from social environments (clubs, parties) to more familiar environments for the stereotypical nerd (libraries etc.). The game would also feature a multiplayer option in which players are trained in the ancient art of "wing-manning".

And that's Nat - al! (sorry)

With the revolutionary object-recognition system Natal boasts, the game could even provide general feedback on your personal presentation and grooming.

It's everything you need to transform yourself from a video game 'player' to a video game 'pa-lay-ah!' 8)

Ideally, this game would attempt to bolster socially awkward players with some confidence that may translate into real-life settings, but if it achieves nothing else it would be hilarious to see hundreds of Xbox fanboys flirting with their consoles :P

congrats, that idea is actually pretty cool. now we wait to see if someone steals it.

although, i have a feeling that the technology isn't advanced enough for that sort of game (same could be said about most entries here most likely), but it's still a good idea.

Does anyone else find it funny how the one with the natal puns won, even though it isn't called natal any more 8)

Well at the time of the competition, the name Kinect hadn't yet been announced.
