I have thought of a map called “Elevator” which I’ve had in my head since playing a similar map in Soldier of Fortune 2 and watching "Speed" my all time favourite Sandra Bullock movie.
It is an almost entirely indoor map, which takes place on the top 4 floors of a fictional skyscraper and features a double Elevator shaft with working Elevators on both sides of the complex.
I've described each level of the map in more detail in my entry but let me know if I should post it in here too.

As I don't own MW2, I can't know if anything similar exists already, nor the current multi-player settings.


I like the idea of creating tension by holding a assault/defend stealth type scenario with a timer counting down to a nuclear strike, so no matter if we win or lose, we are get to sit back and watch the awesome visuals at the conclusion of the map. The reason for the assault is to rescue a VIP with a bonus mission of assassinating their CO before the strike.

The setting would be a City centre, where the enemy are holding fort within the CBD. The assault would lead through various streets, shopping malls and office buildings to their base which would be a heavily defended carpark, with several entry points, such as front, rear, rooftop and subway entry.

I don't think the winners have been chosen yet. But, I assume it would be tomorrow or by the end of this week. Or by the 7th of April as it states in the T&C:
