How many people are still playing BF2

I have not posted or played for ages. Is there still a few people playing BF2 or not? If anyone remembers me, please give me quick update on whats happening with BF2 and if it is worth my time to re-install BF2 and have a few games at my old favorite location (Wake Island) Any update or news would be appreciated even some abuse from some old enemies from Wake, I actually miss my phalanx gun on the ESSEX and feel the need to Zap a few J10s. otwaybob

Ive just built a new computer so im not sure if there are any new patches i need to know about, the last patch i installed was 1.3 or 1.4 it was so long ago I just dont remember. What is "Australian forces" all about? is it like the Special forces disk or is it a whole new game in the BF2 format, do I need to buy a new disk or is it a download like a new patch. Hi ash I no what you are saying but I personally
found it works a lot better if you download the 1.41 first be for hand.

But look do as ash has told you and if its not working as well as you wold like it to then try my way.

And I do remember White_Chicken_Oz what ever happen to him.

Thanks for the replies fellas,I will hook up again and hope to see a few of you on Wake Island. The "chook" is great to play Wake with, you can usually find him around South base or to be more precise, get wasted by him in South base.Im actually looking forward to getting back into the Essex rear phalanx system for a few hours, I think ive got about 400+ hours in that gun,(yeah I know) "get a life Bob". Once again "thanks" and I hope to see you at WAKE ISLAND.

Somehow i'm still hooked

The weird thing is I hate the game... it's actually a pretty **** game - especially the interface, menus and the way you have to log-in and load each time you look at your 'favorites' or 'history', etc. I could keep going...

I guess the game play is pretty decent which is why I still play it
