It's an MMO, of course there'll be elitists!SuBw00FeR wrote:Eh, there's always gonna be elitism, while the grind for gear isn't as apparent in GW2, there's still gear, I think there was an inspect, I can't quite remember. Before all that though people had blacklists anyways (In Vanilla WoW) if you suck, people will know, if you're doing guild runs, you'll be booted etc. (this is all assuming the people are elitists.)CelticAngel82 wrote:i like the thought of no elitism.. no competing / grinding for gear etc.

One of my major beefs with MMO's is that I'd have to buy a game card, but then either don't get time to play or not in the mood to play it 24/7 and I feel like I'm being ripped off .. this has piqued my interest exponentially!

CelticAngel82 wrote:That's right, no monthly subscription fees. Also from what I heard, it doesn't matter what server your friends play on, you can all join the same guild, and you can be part of more than one guild.

There's keys to unlock looted crates in there too. Super original.SuBw00FeR wrote:there is a Cash Shop BUT, it's only for stuff like character slots etc.
There's some fun to be had in PvE, some of the multi-part event chains keep things rolling along. The key seems to be just skipping anything that sounds boring and go do one of the other events/quests. Because you can just keep repeating them all there's really no reason to complete the **** quests, unless you're a completionist.Slazza wrote:Not even going to bother with PvE in this, it's complete garbage.
