I ABSOLUTELY love the detail on the characters raising the rifle when firing, instead of hip firing (which annoys me to no end), sadly my male norn refuses to aim properly and chose hip firing instead.. oh well looks like my male characters are stuck doing grunt work up front bashing face.

Crushing the Vassburg (the blue) during WvW as we assault their keep in Eternal Battleground (my server Maguma held a majority of the territory including the Stonemist castle)

I don't think i can swim for a while now...

No i am NOT going inside that dark underwater cavern full of kraits thank you very much.

The poor grub that got caught in my fight with the Ettin pissed the Ettin off enough with it's fire attack to turn around and... well... the Grub was pretty squashed soon after that shot.

Image
It's amazing how much detail in their movement and style only becomes obvious when you pause or slow it down, all these normally not noticeable in action because they happen too fast.

To be honest, i am astounded that they managed to did all this with just Dx9, i know ArenaNet have some of the most amazing artists i've ever seen doing their concept arts but i didn't expected the engine to translate it very well on large scale MMO (though i already saw part of what they could do in GWEN before).

And if anybody else got their image shots of their GW2 beta experience FIRE AWAY!

edit:
I completely forgot to take more pictures during WvW especially when our Maguma server was crushing Vassburg main keep as they vainly tried to stem our tide, it was non stop running back and forth and ninja squads stealing supply camps...

It was ...

GLORIOUS!!

Would love to look through your images but I am saving alot for launch, didnt properly going into lions arch except to get to WvWvW and only got upto lvl 7 story wise etc.

How amazing is the game so far though? the most fun I have had in an MMO for ages. WvWvW and pvp as a whole is so goddamn great.

Edit: Pic dump. looks alot better then this but tinypic.com took away quality in upload.

My Norn warrior at the start.

2 pics of the Norn Main town, ice statues are amazing.

Amazing detail of character at loading screen.
Image
Ice dragon god statue.

Town that was taken over by hundreds of bears due to a failure of fighting them off the first time. Everyone was dead in town....except for bears.
Image
A group of us in WvWvW.....awesome fun.

I didn't take too many shots and forgot to take any vanity ones around waterfalls like I usually do. Oops.

My Charr Ranger in a cave wielding a sword he just found to see what it looks like. Answer: Pretty sweet.

WvWvW funsies:
Holding Blue at their gates for a bit.
Image

Assaulting a gate with an Elementalist.
Image

More smashing of Blue.
Image

Smashing a tower lord!
Image
You can't see anything? Yeah, I couldn't really either. Tower/Keep assaults are pretty nuts.

And last but not least, my favourite character for looks though only on the selection screen. :(

The prettiest shot I could find, and my graphics aren't even on fully high.

Image

This just amused me.

Yeah probably a good idea.

Possible spoilers ahead(also, lots of images):
Hidden: show
Ascalonian Hammers, so much fun.
Image
I'm not even sure if this area was supposed to be accessible, but it is near the Charr starting area.
Image
Derpy looking Charr.
Image
Divinity's Reach.
Image
Floating Castle.
Image
In the town by the floating castle, I went upstairs in a house and found something odd:
Image
Sylvari Area. (the only one I saw in the beta)
Image
Destroyer Area. (also the only one I found)
Image
Inside the Destroyer area.
Image
Norn Area.
Image
Norn main town (forgot the name):
Image
Image
Image
Higher level Charr area:
Image
Image
Champion Giant (someone ran in and lured him, I tried to help but we wiped after about a minute).
Image
Finale event, fighting Moas:

We only lasted 2 seconds after this screenshot, then everyone in the area was dead.
Image
Earlier on, when we had Arenanet employee assistance.
Image

Even with 544 screenshots, I missed most of the good screenshot opportunities, and the still images don't do the game justice. Also, the beta was smoother and more polished, than almost all other released MMO's I have played. There were some optimisation and balance issues, but the client ran without a hitch. That is even more surprising when you consider that I was running it in Linux with Wine (NVidia proprietary drivers, GLSL enabled though it worked fine without). The only issue I had was the trading post and gem store didn't work. That is most likely due to it running on linux though (running in an X session without a window manager).
