I don't follow football at all, and in fact didn't even know it was on last night until my Facebook wall was full of comments about it >.< After a 6 year losing streak, I think even the most hardened NSW supporters would be pretty meh by now about the whole thing.

Judging by my FB last night, NSW supporters have been the most vocal about it and are itching for a win...../waits for CrazyMonkey to pipe in :P

But having the game down in Melbourne is just stupid imo! This is between two states and the games should remain in those two states.

Yeah i thought we might have had a good chance last night.

A couple of dodgy decisions turned the game and we got done.

If Matt Cecchin refs game two, i'm not watching.

Agreed! Channel 9 showed the game instead of repeats of repeats for big bang theory.

Having the game in Melbourne seems a bit odd to me, but the crowd of 56,000 was big and proved it's worth. Didn't even know it held that many people. And for one who doesn't watch league much even I knew that wasn't a try. Just another year where Qld win.

They always said NSW will win when the world ends.

If NSW wins the next two matches, I may get a little scared come December 21st.

I dunno... maybe the 16 shots Munich had during the first half of the game? Or perhaps the sheer amount of times Robben and Gomez screwed up? :58_40:

it was a good game... wasnt too flashy but was good to watch. i think the blues really just need to give the same guys a chance... dont get me wrong... im a queenslander but i do believe that the blues do have a shot if they stick with the same bunch of players instead of changing the lineup every bloody game.

i dont believe that myles deserved man of the match with the way that smith was playing... seriously? 49 tackles and not man of the match? geez... if not smith than tate deserved it imo.

with the controversial inglis try... not just cause im a QLDer but that was a try. the ball was kicked out of his hands so that should be classed as a rake which means he didnt lose control of the ball which would have been a knock-on. with the ball being raked he was able to regather the ball and comfortably put it down for a try.

now with the fight! THERE SHOULD BE MORE!!! THIS IS ORIGIN!!! BRING BACK THE BIFF! but yeh jennings deserved to be sent off... running 20 odd metres to throw a haymaker at tate...

BRING ON GAME 2!
