Seriously?

Lesnar showed he is a good wrestler and can probably control anyone in the HW division if he is on top, but I would hardly call the fight awesome. Herring did nothing all fight and Lesnar should have stepped up and finshed him off in the first round. How many times could he have taken Herring's back and RNCed. Hell, if he'd put in a better effort I think he could have easily GnPed him to a finish.

Lets not even discuss Lesnar's behaviour in the last 10 seconds of the fight.

He is a fighter with potential, but at the moment he only really has a hammer and a dropsheet in his toolbox. If he can skill up and combine that with his strength and speed we may see some awesome fights from him.

The first fight of the telecast, maia v Mcdonald was an awesome fight. GSP v Fitch was an awesome fight. Lasnar v Herring was quite average.

+1

Lesnar apparently has good stand-up but you don't get to see it because he is a wrestler.

Yeah actually I agree, maybe it just the fact he's massive and seems dominating. Which makes it entertaining... I haven't watched all the fights for UFC 87 so maybe i should :)

I'm actually somewhat surprised there is as many people here as there are that watch MMA.

Peronally I watch anything I can get my hands on. WEC, Pride, Dream, Sengoku, Cage Rage, IFL, ShoXC, EliteXC, K1, Shooto, Affliction, TUF, Tapout, Inside MMA etc etc.

Basically a massive fan. I think the sport is really evolving and think its gonna get a lot bigger in the future.

Interesting interview with Obama... er I mean Dr Johnny Benjamin about the medical perspective on MMA today on MMAJunkie.com

http://mmajunkie.com/news/5056/ask-the- ... trikes.mma

Also interesting to read in the comments that Herring suffered a broken orbital bone from that first punch from Lesnar... ouch

Couture v Lesnar is now official for December.

Can't believe they are giving Lesnar a title shot when he is 2-1 MMA 1-1 UFC.

winner of this bout fights winner of Nog/Mir for united belt early next year.
