Well this thread sort of died, didn't it. This is worth ressurecting it

Aussie fighter Anthony "The Hippo" Perosh has pulled out of his fight with Joey Beltran with a broken toe. Pic below (don't click if squeamish)

Ouch, was that a toe in the cage injury? Or did he post on it or something? I've seen some truly horrid **** happen even from just getting a toe caught in a gi.

Interesting little interview with K1 legend Mark Hunt... can't wait to see him back in the cage.

LOL @ BJ fighting again, was only a matter of time till his ego reared its big head again. I hope Macdonald just destroys him.

I think BJ is going to surprise a lot of people... he's a true legend of the sport IMO.

Should have been a true legend but his ego is too big and he's too enchanted with his rich boy slacker lifestyle, if he put in the kind of work that someone like Hughes or Sherk did then he'd probably be regarded as the GOAT.

I'd agree with all of that. Probably the most talented fighter of all time (world champion of bjj after training for 3 years is just NUTS) but never took that next step up in commitment. Sounds like he is fired up for this fight though.

Everything according to plan, I hear Rory is being charged with rape .

Also in other news: Ronda Rousey is headlining UFC 157 against Liz Carmouche, guess dana had to overlook his hatred of womens MMA in favour of profits haha.

BJ was gassed two minutes in, can't say I'm surprised.

Was a good event overall, glad that Diaz got dominated.

I really gotta stop falling for the "BJ really is motivated THIS time!" thing

Good fights tonight. Pretty messed up about Henderson and the toothpick thing though, he could totally lose his belt for bringing in an illegal foreign object. Diaz wins the belt through DQ?

Some good fights on today. I won $170 betting on Glover over Rampage. Pretty much went exactly as I expected.

Highlight of the card was Tj Grant's muay thai clinic. Sweet standing elbow TKO.
