Pirates, Vikings and Knights II release Beta 2.0

It was around this time last year that Pirates, Vikings and Knights II released the v1.1 Beta of their HL2 mod. After 12 months of hard work, they're now very proud to announce that the 2.0 Beta is ready to play!

Now, I know that the age-old question is whether you are a Pirate or a Ninja, but apparently these Knights and Vikings are something to watch out for, too! If you want in on the action, you need a copy of Steam, any Source game installed, and a copy of the Source SDK Base, available if you have the other two bits. Then - of course - grab the 2.0 Beta Client, and you're set!

Hmm PVK-II B2 Killed my steam :(

Update:
After a system reboot steam now loads but any source game has:
Source Game wrote:Platform error: Module failed to initialise

Looks like its of to http://support.steampowered.com/ for me :dodgy:

Update 2:
Deleted Client registry.BLOB - Didn't resolve

- Backed up Steam apps but found out that a 'repair' install of steam fixed issue.

interesting, haven't played it myself (obvious reasons) but it looks iteresting,

also I was just wondering have their been any updates or news regarding Dystopia? that was suppose to be pretty big/popular wasn't it? and wasn't it based in Brisbane or something?

nice, been waiting for this one. its a fun mod guys should check it out, node have a server would be good to see it get used more often :)

edit: spoke too soon, the server is full :o good stuff

i can connect to other servers fine, but only on nodes server it comes up asking to install HL2. ive got Source SDK Base, TF2 and DoD:Source all installed i thought thats all you need for the mod to run, am i missing something that specifically Internode needs, because other servers are working.

and just one other thing a minor problem,

This mod is awesome! Its very fatiguing though, the action is so constant. Can we please have a 24 player server instead of 18? It runs fine with 24 players, I was playing on an Aussie 24 player one and having a great time.

bad luck with that. Mine was fine. Awesome mod when theres 10 or more players.
