a little buggy? :lol:
in about an hour ive had 2 CTD's and 4 servers crashed - 2 of the IGN ones were down before i downloaded (still down)

- no TK punish/kick system which made for a fun round.. :roll:
- fire while reloading is instant reload ?
- join specs and it asks u to join a squad? then join team and it doesnt ask!
- voice chat is all teams by default?!?!

other than that and having nfi where to go it could turn out good :)
but this is what they finally decide to release after 4 years?

I'm only getting servers #3 and #4 up at the moment.

Have 1 and 2 been taken down purposely? Or have they just crashed?

My point being - the others a full.. and I'm selfishly saying that I want to play :)

Every game I connect to (Local or Internet) the loading graphic won't go away.

And I see a heap of errors in the console:

that loading graphic stumped me too, once it says it is loaded, the graphich will stay there for a bit, you will have to click on the arrow looking thing at the bottom right of the screen (right arrow bracket in a big circle) you won't have a cursor, so you have to sorta guess where it is.

otherwise, minimise and restore, this gave me back my cursor

You realise that you have to click on the little arrow in the bottom-right corner of the graphic, don't you :)

Its very much like red orchestra, but a bit faster pace and with a lot less recoil on the gun.

One bug I found which you should avoid, do not throw a grenade while sprinting, its the grenade holster bug, you will be stuck unable to change weapon until you die. Avoid it.

Yeah, I sorta thought it was the **** child of Red Orchestra's reality, and BF2's city settings, with maybe better graphics and a few things chucked in to make it playable (RO still annoys me, I think the people are too skinny maybe)

The sound effects are great. Gun models are nice. Player models are cool.

Levels are a bit meh. The sliding running animations put me off, and the speed these guys can climb ladders is just incredible. Needs some ways to coordinate teams. It just feels a bit run-of-the-mill at the moment.

Clicking anywhere won't remove the graphic.

Via the console I got into spectator mode and was cycling through players and the graphic was still up.

Edit and most of the world was black too.

I think I've realised why it hasn't grabbed me. The constant respawn doesn't promote teamplay (on pub servers at least). In CS:S generally people stick together or split into a couple of groups because they know that without the backup of these guys, chances are they will be dead very quickly and have to sit out for a few minutes. In this game you tend to respawn, everyone runs wherever the hell they want, and you can have little to no idea where they are except for the gun fire. I know BF2 has a similar system, but it works in that game because of squads, the map, and the waypoint system.

If something doesn't change to promote teamplay, then I don't see this mod taking off.

Still people are learning and have no idea what to do or where to go. Most will just run around like a few headless chooks until they start to get an idea. Took me a while myself and wasn't until I went through the maps on a listen-server that I worked out where all the mission points were.

One thing I would love is a longer time length on who you were killed by (when killed by your team). Would be nice to know that it was the enemy that took you out and not a bullet to the back by a teammate. It's not to get upset with them as again, new game everyone will stuff up, just nice to know who is hitting you, enemy or team. :?

When they fix the crashing servers then it will be much better as well.
