Steam Deliver Black Ops Care Package

Unread postby News Portal » 9 Feb 11, 10:43 am

Normally, your average Steam update to this or that release really doesn’t rate as newsworthy unless it involves a svelte new beret for us to wear in [app=754]Team Fortress 2[/app]. The other exception are any well-meaning changes made to [app=7005]Call of Duty: Black Ops[/app], because the game is so hopelessly riddled with bugs it’s sort of become a bit of a game in itself to see if you can experience them all in one session. Hopefully, this latest patch from Steam will narrow said game down a little.

Meh. This game's been out for months now and it still ran like a dog. Not sure if this patch fixes it, but I doubt it.

Atleast this means I never have to buy another CoD title. :)

Might see how this patch runs tonight if I get a chance. Hopefully it will improve performance even more.

Nah.

I bought CoD4 and loved it. WaW looked like **** and I never bought it. MW2 had no dedi servers, so I never bought that. Black Ops came out and looked pretty awesome, that was ****.

Maybe if they're still making them in another 3-4 years I'll buy one.

COD is on its last stand in my opinion. Black Ops killed it.

Honestly, Mod tools should of been packaged on release. 4 months into the game and we still don't have them.. I wonder if they'll actually come.

yeah same here, i don't mind black ops now & then, starting to get over it though. been getting back into BC2 lately, until homefront & BF3 anyway.
