Mare Nostrum mod for Red Orchestra updated

Unread postby News Portal » 15 Dec 09, 2:21 am

Alright, so there's this game that not many people have heard of, and it's quite a few years old. The developers released a mod for it, but that was over a year ago, too. So this piece of news is about an update to an old mod for an elderly game.

And I'm still excited, and you should be too, if the words "[app=350]Red Orchestra[/app]" mean anything to ya' - as, if you want to call yourself a skilled FPSer, they really, really ought to.

I have this game!

*starts up Steam*

Very hardcore. I am getting a bit tired of playing the fast paced FPS's of late... time to "fire it up!, fire it up!, fire it up!"

(no prize for guessing the movie I quoted) Unrelated to the war theme, but I was going to just write "time to fire it up", then this particular movie scene came in to my head. Just happens to be one of my favourite movies, so yeah, it happens quite often... I'll shut up now. :|

if you are not the proud owner of a copy of Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 and the Mare Nostrum mod, might I suggest you rectify this serious oversight, immediately?

I would be happy too if, well, you know...

Sounds all well and good, but Mare Nostrum is played less than Darkest Hour D: The two mods are both alright, but classic RO is still the best. With my mates and I on break we've been playing it every day and I'm wondering why we weren't playing it during the semester as well, the game is awesome fun with friends; fire fights and tank battles are intense and assault or defending positions is really enjoyable. Excellent game, wish more people were into it.
I like pie, do you?

Tommy guns were invented in 1919.
